O Brother, Where Art Thou?

Inspired by Homer's epic poem, The Odyssey, as told by Joel and Ethan Coen, in rural Mississippi in 1937, three escaped convicts, Ulysses Everett McGill, Pete, and Delmar, search for buried treasure while being pursued by the sheriff. Along the way they encounter strange characters - a blind prophet, bewitching sirens, a KKK lynch mob, and a one-eyed Bible salesman, and also find accidental fame as a bluegrass musical group, The Soggy Bottom Boys, as Ulysses also has to win back his wife, the long-suffering Penny.
